PORTLAND, Ore. — Compli announced it has expanded its sales channel in the Midwestern United States with a new regional office in Ohio and has appointed Randell Wittenberg as Midwest regional sales manager.
According to officials, Wittenberg has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. He comes to Compli from Hearst Corp.'s Veretech, where he was responsible for sales to auto dealerships of BlackBookOnline.info. His customers there included Chrysler, BMW and Acura new-car dealerships, executives noted.
"Randy is the ideal leader for Compli's expansion to serve the Midwest market of dealerships," said Dick Potter, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Compli.
"His experience in the dealership, warranty, online services, software and petroleum industries gives him a unique breadth of expertise to help dealerships streamline operations and maximize revenues. Our Midwest customers will benefit from Randy's understanding of their businesses," he added.
Prior to his time with Veretech, Wittenberg was with ServiceBench, which recruited him to join the company as an automotive sector account manager.
Previously, Wittenberg was director of sales for North America and Canada at ProQuest Business Solutions, a $470 million software company in the automotive, powersports, education and construction equipment industries.
Officials said he began his career with Wittenberg Farm Service, which provided products to the automotive aftermarket through retail outlets.
